Health

Health

The Health and WASH sector of ADRA in South Sudan focuses on capacity building of health personnel in leadership and governance, provision of pharmaceutical services, health management and information systems and health service provision. ADRA’s Health program will focus on strengthening the health system at the state and county levels. As a result, state and county health departments will effectively and efficiently provide health support needed in the health facilities. The strategy is designed to increase access to health services based on the 7 high impacts (Immunization, WASH, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Safe motherhood, Family Planning). For health systems strengthening, ADRA SS embarks on the 6 building blocks (leadership and governance, human resources for health, pharmaceutical services, finance, health management information systems, and health service provision). Attention is also placed on strengthening the Boma Health Initiative to bring services to the grassroots.
